French Onion Soup
1/2 stick of butter
4 cups onions, thinly sliced
2 cups sliced mushrooms
1 1/2 tbsp flour
6 cups beef broth (not boullion)
1/2 tsp salt and pepper
1/2 tsp kitchen bouqet seasoning
On stove top, melt butter add onions, stirring constantly. Cook till soft (15-20 minutes). Add mushrooms, cook 2 minutes and sprinkle with flour. Add 2 cups of broth. Stir till thickened. Add remaining broth, sitr in salt and pepper. Bring to boil. Cover and simmer for 45 minutes. Add the Kitchen bouqet seasonging and then taste for seasonings. Garnish with croutons and mozza cheese.
