Strawberry Rhubarb Pie 

1 cup sugar

1/2 cup flour

1 lb rhubarb

2 pints strawberry

2 tbsp butter

1 egg yolk

2 tbsp sugar

Mix 1 cup sugar and flour together.  Then add the rhubarb and strawberries to the sugar/flour mixture and toss; put into pie crust.  Dot in crust over strawberry/rhubarb mixture.  Lightly beat the egg yolk.  Place pie shell on top of pie and wash with egg yolk then sprinkle with remaining sugar.

Bake at 400F for 35-40 minutes.
